Here is your forum team:

"Byfleet Residents Neighbourhood Forum is a voluntary group working on a Neighbourhood Plan for Byfleet Village. Once completed the plan will be submitted to Woking Borough Council for adoption and will sit alongside the Woking Masterplan. Having this in place will help us to influence sustainable development within our village."

I was born in Surrey but moved to Byfleet Village in 2016.
The village has a great community feel and it is impossible to walk around without greeting many people. Everything we can do to maintain the environment of the village, and that sense of community is time well spent, and I wanted to be a part of that. My career was with all aspects of computers from their early days, and my interests are in using that knowledge, and with recording village life in photographs as I walk around.
I have also been a part of Byfleet Community Newsletter's team and have produced posters for St. Mary’s Church.

I have lived in the village since 2017 and joined the forum committee to contribute to the Byfleet plan as I feel it is hugely important for residents to have a voice. I hope to represent the wishes of the Byfleet population and in a modest way to positively influence future developments and policies for a thriving community. I am a member of St Mary’s Church, recently undertaken Pastoral Care training and volunteer at Byfleet Library. I am a member and street rep for the Resident’s Association.

Cllr Stephen Howes
I am a semi retired person that has lived in Byfleet village with my wife for nearly 10 years. I work as a driver taking children with special needs to and from school.
I became a committee member for the forum to be a voice for the village, fighting for the needs and safety of its residents, making it a place that people aspire to live, visit or work. I genuinely believe that the village deserves more from Woking Borough Council and to not be the forgotten village that it is.
